In 1968 jimmy hendrix created psychadelic metal that inspired Hawk wind although it took another 9years to create Hard and Heavy rock infused with metal in 1976 by Black Sabbath, Deep purple, white snake and Rainbow later in 1978 Progressive metal was created by the influence of anew kind of metal by Motorhead leading to the punk scene in 1980 by The s*xpistols, buzz , Unearth and later the Exploited in 1983 Thrash metal was created from the bands the Misfits, Metalica and later Slayer. While black metal was created by Venom, Enthroned and later by Entombed. Gothic dark wave infused with metal now known as Alternative metal as it is today was created by Sabbath, that paved the way for The Sisters of mercy, the Cult, Cure and The Mission. Love metal created from the music of Him, as a clas* of his own while bon jovi and def leppard can be soft metal. Speed and power metal by bands like Dragonforce, Helloween and Disturbed.
